I have a 99 f350 6spd 7.3 Im at a loss trying to figure out a problem I bought the truck with all new injectors in it and it blows white smoke (fuel) when im running threw town and runs ruff . When I get out on the highway it runs fine with all the power in the world. It keeps kicking codes for clylinder 5 not contributing and I put a new injector in still the same. Im at a loss any help ?

Look at the #5 exhaust port. Which is the right side third one back. Is it wet? If so do a compression test on that hole. I had a customer bring me his and I done the same thing put a inj in still missed and was still smoking. I pulled the head and sure enough the cylinder was bad. Make long stories short a good used 7.3 fixed his problem
