oil cooler

hello everyone and thanks in advance, going to rebuild my oil cooler tommorrow, the top end you know the one that is tough to see, was thinking of tying that gasket on with sewing thread, so as not to fight it, that top end is kinda tight, will the thread hurt the gasket, Thanks

ah, im not real sure about the OBS trucks as to how hard the are to get at... but the gaskets are steel so i cant see some real thin fishing line or thread hurting it. i personally would just use some of that black gasket "glue" stuff to hold it in place myself
