Your brain teaser for the day

so my 2001 f250 7.3 was running great. I parked on a hill with the with front of the truck facing down. When i started it the Check engine light came on. 45 mins later the truck shut off. After 600 dollars the ford garage said it was my icm. I replaced it and the truck runs good until you hit the gas. It will randomly cut off or miss for a half second. There are no codes. I replaced the cps and just ordered a Fuel Injection Pressure Regulator (motorcraft) if this doesnt fix it any ideas what it could be

IDM or ICP?

You had it at the dealership? What did They say when you said to them "the truck runs good until you hit the gas" after picking it up???

Also, "No Codes" is a rare occurrence with your symptoms. What is it you're using to retrieve codes? You can't use an OBD-II handheld (like the Auto Parts Stores use) on these trucks, you need a professional scanner to properly scan the PCM...

My 02 does the same thing I've narrowed it down to 2 things. Its either the TPS on the pedal. Or its the program in my truck that it came with. I noticed with some old superchips programmers that it would cause that. But the truck gets over 20 mpg so i just deal with it. GL

Take it to the Ford dealership, it's bound to be throwing some type of code
