2002 f250 7.3 wont stay on or turn on

I will give yall all the background. For the past few weeks my truck starts then cuts off about 1/2 mile down the road.....I then have a terrible time starting it and have to rev it at 2000 rpms for 10 minutes and then it works the rest of the day.....It does this almost every time i take it out.....Now it has done it again and it wont start.....Ive read that it could be a cps or icp or ipr sensor.....I have a second vehicle so it can wait a bit but I probably will have a mechanic come check it out....It Has no Codes....Is there a way to single out which it could be or Is it something else?????....Thanks in advance for the help

if primed it will start

If i prime it twice(turn key twice) and pump the gas it will turn on and i can rev it up.....i take it to 2000 rpms and it dies within 15 seconds....wont turn on again until primed several times....I have done this several times before but the engine stayed on and i continued with my day...Now its just not working so Im dumbfounded as how to proceed
