7.3 diesel no cold start
Hi I have a f350 superduty with 7.3 diesel motor. It wont even start on worm days 85-90* unless its plugged in. after 1/2 to 1 hour then she starts right up. I changed the glow plugs(bosch) and the plug relay. no change. I changed the oil and oil filter. I changed the fuel filter and the fuel pump seems to be working fine filled the bowl quickly. I vacumed out the high pressure oil pump the oil was at the top. and filled it with clean oil. I disconected the ICP and still no start.... Once it is started by pluging it in, it will start all day but if not plugged in over night it won't start. Batteries are 2 1/2 yrs old read 12.8v and 13.3v it seems to turn over quick but doesn't fire. i'm thinking fuel pump regulator but i'm stumped. I appreciate any ideas if you have had same situation let me know. thanks Oh I also pulled the wire harness and put a meter on the glow plugs and the ohms checked out to spec.
