7.3 shut down

im new to this forum but would appreciate some help...my 2000 7.3 super duty shut down on me the other day but started right back..the check engine light came on for a few minutes but went off..while driving it stumbled a couple times..i talked to a couple of friends and they said to change the cps...i got a new cps from international{the grey one} put it in but im still having the same problem...ive been to orileys and auto zone to have it scaned but no codes show up...i cant afford to keep chasing sensors trying to fix it...in the last 3 weeks ive had the fuel supply pump go out,the transmission rebuilt,and now this problem that i havent figured out yet..my truck has 273,000 so i know its getting time for things to go out...i love my truck but its getting expensive to keep it on the road...any help would be appreciated

Those auto stores can't scan it, so don't try. AutoEnginuity will keep you from throwing parts at it.
