7.3 no start, unplug icp then ran, then no start

2002 7.3 Powerstroke, stock work truck. 244k miles. New fuel pump, fuel filter, cps sensor.

It died on me this morning a block from my house, pulled it home, checked HPOP level it was pretty empty, filled it up, still no start.

I unplugged the ICP sensor, it started right up, went for test drive, she ran awesome, then a mile away she died again. Towed it back again, I checked the level in the HPOP it was down about 1.5 to 2 inches again.

Does this mean that the IPR is bad also? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Adam

The icp is bad there is oil coming out of it. I am going to top off the Hpop and try it again.

First, you're in the wrong forum... This is for General Diagnostic Procedures, you'd be Much better off in the 7.3 specific, either General or Motor Problem Forums for a Lot more views.

You may have an issue with the LPOP not being able to keep-up with the demands of the HPOP. You should never see that reservoir low, the LPOP should keep it overflowing all the time (@ 1" down from the top). RePost this and you'll get Many more opinions I'm sure
