Autoengenuity ST05 vs ST06

I'm about to purchase an AE. I see there are refurbished ones directly from AE on eBay but they are only ST05. The new ones available from AE are ST06. Anyone know what the differences are?

Be careful there were a lot of "Pirate versions out there so they had to add a security dongle

that may be the part number change ?

Ya that looks like the new unit with the dongle u need to run the latest software

I don't want the added hassle so I am fine with the st05

Oh and that would explain why there are so many refurbs A/E has an upgrade price to go st06 so they have a lot of older ones coming back
