04 Powerstroke

FIRST POST.. so take it easy on me

I am currently about to make a trade with a man from PA for his 04 King ranch powerstroke it has 126,000 miles on it has 8 inch lift running 37's on it delete kit, straight pipe, bully dog programmer

I am trading him for my 04 350z with 6500 on top his asking price is 20k and the value of the trade is around 18000 which i think is a fair price since.... he has had to replace the injectors and the turbo and the trans

But my real question is since he has to replace all of those things what are the chances of them going bad again I would be using this truck as a DD for morning commute to work around 10 miles if that i will not be towing much maybe father in laws 30 foot boat in the summer maybe once and a jet ski a couple of times

I have attached a picture of it please help I have never owner a diesel truck and this would be first dont have alot of extra cash just really love the power and sound of the powerstroke

thank you

No it just has the delete done I have heard that bully dog is really hard on the trans so I would be getting rid of that and getting a SCT with some custom tunes from a place in MD and no Studs would also have to invest in that before the tunes and also no gauges
thank you for the quick reply by the way

I would pickup a monitor, maybe a cheap one like scanguage and look at deltas so you know what you're actually getting into.

Does anyone else agree that it is a good trade? I also have found out that there is a three page long list of repairs total probably about 20 different things

Depends on the repairs seems like a decent trade but I would find out exactly what you're getting into before you pay that much..
