Compresion Tester Recommendation

I have a 01 PSD that I suspect may have a dead hole so I'm looking for a decent compression tester to assess the problem. Not looking for the top of the line as I may and hopefully won’t need it again for some time but want to have an accurate tool. Any input appreciated.

I am also looking for a decent compression tester. I will be in the market for a used engine and feel it would be well worth the time and money to invest in a tester. And convice the seller I have to test out the used engine. All the sellers of used engine always rave about how well their engine ran while it is sitting outside of the truck. My thought is to buy one made in the USA. They start at about $125 it appears. Edit I will post up more information after a while checking out a single adapter and gauge for about $50
