No pedel response

I have a 2001 F350 utility truck 2wd. 7.3 runs great except for the gas pedel tends to not work after you press it back down when its cold!
after giving it gas. The engine doesnt die the pedel just goes to the floor dead. Anyone no or had this problem? Makes it tough to jump out intraffic when
it doesnt go!!

i second that, fortunatly for you, the 01's have a removable sensor on the accelerator pedal and the replacement only runs around 30 or 40 dollars. check autopartswarehouse.com, partsgeek.com for the best price or the official ford parts site if you dont care to pay way more.
