Power windows slow

Hi guys, first post.

I bought an 01 CC XLT, SWB, 4X4 about a month ago, and have a few questions. The drivers side window rolls down fine 2/3 of the way, but the last 1/3 it gets real slow. A buddy of mine has almost the same truck with the same prob. Do the window tracks need cleaning? Is this just something I will have to live with?

My 250 had teh same problem when i bought it. I read on here to spray silicon lubricant on teh window sills and now it works like a champ. Try that.
