Will not crank

Hi guys,
I'm new to the forum. I have a problem I created. The former owner of my 2005 F 250 7.3 installed pillar guages and left naked wires twisted together behind the pillar cover. I was going to wire tie these together but when I removed the pillar cover the wires shorted. Now it will not crank, no dash lights, no dash indicators, no glow indicator, no check engine ect. The engine turns over fine. I checked all fuses in the fuse box (good) , unhooked both batteries and reconnected.
Any ideas??
Thanks.
