6.0 EGR Flush?

Just joined the ranks of Powerstroke users with a 2006 6.0 F350 Dually and I knew going in the oil cooler needs to be replaced and along with that I am installing the Sinister EGR eliminator kit. Question is should I flush the cooling system with Motorcraft Engine Cooling System Iron Cleaner (VC-9) as another post suggests or just a normal flushing with tap water before I do the cooler and EGR work?
