black smoke at take off

recently the check light came, mechanic hasnt scanned it as of yet, but i notice that it leaves black smoke at the intersection, also leave a trail of black smoke when under hard accerleration, noticed a small whistling sound when releasing gas pedal? otherwise truck rounds great and enjoy driving it

the turbo may be sticking due to carbon build up. it might need cleaned out. but before doing that i would see what codes were pulling off truck.
