EDGE - EVOLUTION

For my 2000 E350 7.3L I bought an Edge - Evolution download programmer, haven't installed it yet as I"m doing other work the van first but was wondering what to expect from the Edge. Only want to download the #1 - Tow program. Any one else using this Edge?

I just bought a cts evolution too, but not for the tunes, just to monitor. I have always read on here, guy's say get edge for a monitor and SCT for custom tunes. I would like to know myself if the lower tunes will hurt my 6.0.

I have a 96 f250 with the edge evolution and was on tow when I bought it and it works great when it has a load but just driving it down the road it won't shift untill at a higher rpm

Have an edge evolution in my 2005 6.0 it's been great, get about 5 more miles a gallon with it on the tow tune 60 more houres ,tranny shifts find everything seems just fine ,tow my 21 foot bass boat and my 30 foot camper , been on it almost 4 years no problems at all.
Maybe all the ones with trouble just abuse there s*** to much.

4 years huh? It was about 5 before mine blew the transmission out of itself. Judging by what you're towing, you abuse your s*** more than I do mine. It didn't do anything for my MPG and I don't care what the box claimed, NO settings changed the shift pattern/firmness.
