Suggestions?
Hi. I am new to this forum. I am hoping for some suggestions.
I have a 97 F350 that won't fire. It was running fine then the starter went out. I had a leaking front tank so replaced the tank, transfer valve and fuel filter as well as the starter. Fired up and ran for about 3 miles then died and wouldn't start. Opened the fuel/water valve and let it drain. Truck started and ran for about 6 more blocks and died again.
I changed the batteries and the CPS but couldn't get it to fire. I had to leave town so a couple of days later my brother-in-law drug it, popped the clutch, and drove it 5 miles to his place and parked it. When he went out the next morning it wouldn't start even though he had it plugged in. They drug it, popped the clutch, and got it to run for about 2 miles then it died. It has now been sitting for about 2 months in the cold. I am going home next week and want to get it running.
Suggestions on what the problem might be or where to start? Thanks!!!!
