Need help with the name of a wiring harness 2001 7.3l
Here is the history, problem, and question.
Drove home one night and parked the truck. Next morning, turns over like normal, but won't fire. Read here that camshaft sensor often it the culprit, so I replaced it...not the problem. Started thinking that it might just be electrical. Looked around and found (SO FAR, that is) THREE components where the wires have either btoken or are about to break. Back pressure sensor (black with 2 vacuum lines and a green plug attached on pipes at the rear of the engine), fuel warmer (white plug attached under fuel filter bowl), and one other.
I have a 2001 7.3l f250, 101,216 miles. The wiring harness is falling apart, mostly abutting the electrical plugs, and I need to find out what one of the harness part's name is. Viewing from the rear of the compartment, the fuel filter bowl on the center of the motor valley. Directly left is the high pressure oil pump. I see the Injector regulator pressure sensor. There is a black two connection plug that has a wire loop latch that holds it in place and may be attached below the HPOP.
What is the name of the harness that utilizes that plug.
Anyone else have a complete harness falling apart all at once like this?
