6.4 starts sometimes but dies shortly
hey my first post and not the last. im glad this place exists ive used it many times for help in the past but now i need some help. i got an 09 diesel came in with a low power concern and check engine light. i try and get it in my bay and its a no start now. truck will start 1 out of 10 tries but dies quickly. ive already reprogrammed it. i got a ton of dpf codes a few egr codes and a few fuel codes like p2291 0088 0087. i tried undoing the exhaust to see if the filter was to clogged no improvement. ran pp test ME up to the point where im asked to do a glow plug mist test. datalogged the egr valve and confermed its stuck in the middle of its range of motion. im about to put in a egr valve. hopefully it helps. any ideas?
