hissing 6.0

Got a hissing noise this weekend pulling my boat up a hill,,,,I can only hear it when my boost gets close to 20 lbs...are there seals around the turbo that go bad,,,,,,?????????wonderin??????Any help appreciated

Check your up-pipe and/or y-pipe right at the flex section. There will be some soot on the firewall where your leak is located.

Either that or there might be a intercooler boot that has a slight rip or tear in it. Check for soot, if not that then check all boots for rips.

Yeah, good point. With my Dieselsite boots, I forget that people might have a rip or tear in their boots...
