The other day I got CHECK ENGINE SOON light.
So I did, the obd2 reader said (PO672-674-676-678). This is cylinders (2-4-6-8) right bank, glow plug ckt fault per book. All my fuses are good, tested them all. The 9 pin connector to the valve cover is tight no bare wires. No Loose wires. i need some instruction. Truck is 2000 f350 crew 4x4 7.3l 125,00mi. Last edited by bbgun; 07-21-2011 at 04:57 PM. Reason: basic data for truck left out. |

I'm confused. What year/engine do you have? I'm guessing a later 7.3 since you mentioned a 9 pin connector. You must have a CA emissions style engine that uses a glow plug module, instead of a glow plug relay. If this is the case sounds like your glow plug module might be taking a crap.

Yes sir! Seems like that's what most people find when you log codes for a whole bank. Probably worth a shot replacing it.
