We changed out all of the injectors today on my 01 7.3 and now it won't crank. YOu turn the key and it starts to, but then just freezes up. Is this my starter? Or is there something wrong with injectors not getting fuel?
the cylinders are probaly hydrolocked. did you spin the engine over with the injectors or glowplugs out to purge all of th oil out of the cylinders. if not pull the v/c's remove the glow plugs, lay the valve covers back on (just lay them there dont rebolt) spin for a few seconds. reinstall everythings and should crank over.
Thank you! That was the problem. Runs like a champ now.
