I am new here,so HELLO.
Have a 1999 F250 with 190,000+ miles.
Had a lower Rad. hose come off.Was pulling my backhoe. Temp gauge was not off gauge but close. Very hot!
Go it repaired and then had a hard start the next day. Got out a found coolent coming down at the right/rear of the block. Opened the hood and can see water stains on the uppipe to the turbo.Did a presure test on the coolent system and it seemed to hole? Refilled the system and after a over night park, hard start then the coolent leak and then it runs OK?? No coolent in the oil. Looks like some water vaper in exhaust at start up.Seams to run ok but maybe a little low on power??

I am thinking it is a crack in the head but maybe a head gasket.
Thanks for the help!

Also could you point me to any post about pulling the heads?
