7.3 engine trouble, help please

Hi,
I have a 1999 4x4 7.3 with 155000 miles on it. A couple weeks ago I noticed a loss of power at high speed. Last week it really started running like crap and speed was down to 30 mph. I thought maybe I had bad diesel so I stopped and topped it off (1/2 tank) and it ran better the rest of the way home. It still ran crappy just not as crappy.
The next day I put a full bottle of diesel Kleen in it. It then seemed to clear up and run a lot better. I have been driving it back and forth to work and it seemed to be running fine. Two days ago I went to pick up a little horse trailer and topped off the tank on the way down (it had 3/4) and put another bottle of diesel kleen in it. I barely made it home with the trailer.
The truck is running like crap again. Yesterday I drove it around and it would smoke the tires off the start but at about 40 mph the motor would start shutting down like it is running on 2 pistons. No check engine light has come on, no smoke, no over heating, and no lose of coolant.
Today, trying to drive into work it wouldn't get over 20 mph and the motor ran extremely rough. It has half a tank in it right now...
Does anyone have any ideas?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Yes, all the maintenance is up to date. Actually, I changed the fuel filter when it started running bad. Changed oil and filter couple days ago. Transmission fluid and filter changed a few thousand miles back. Air filter is a relatively new k&n and is clean.

possible ideas:
1. bad fuel pump
2. bad IDM (Injector driver module)
3. HPOP reservoir is low
4. bad throttle position sensor

Ok, I got it, the high pressure pump. But, what would make that be low? From what I found it is linked into the main oil system.

Ok, I have ruled out the idm, hpop, and I think the fuel pump. It is now getting worse. It wont climb a hill to save its life. Stalls before getting to the top. After it stalls it, it will restart, and blow white smoke. I'm now thinking it may be then injector pump???
