Newbie Intro - Need Help
Hi, All. Glad to have stumbled upon this site.
Never knew the 6.0's had problems until mine started blowing ALOT of white smoke. I've done the time-waster of pursuing help from Ford. Been sitting in dealership for more than a month. 88k miles & 6.5 years = 0 assistance.
I THINK that the Bullet Proof EGR Kit w/ Ford Cooler is way to go. Any advice? I hope that is all there is to it and not the head gaskets. Either way I don't want dealership to do it.
Is there someone mid-state that is good with this? I'd even tow it 100 miles if it makes sense.
Really torn between between doing minimum to trade or full blown repair and keeping forever.
Grateful for any assistance.
