It's not a powerstroke - but still a ford!

I know I know, it's not the Excursion - but it's why I got the Ex.
To tow this guy out to the tracks.
It's pretty much a bone stock 84 Capri 302, with a tuned Holly 700 Dbl-pump on it.
Upgraded exhaust manifolds to an H-pipe (open exhaust.)
This was the last run for this 302 as the 347 is getting dropped in come spring time!
Best pass ever was - 15.3 down in Tucson (with the old carb.)
I actually matched that here at Bandimere with the new Carb. So I can only imagine what it would have run down there!
This pass was 15.7, with a .083 reaction racing my buddy's 2012 6.2 Raptor (Stock).
Crossed the scale at the end with less than a 1/4 tank of fuel @ 3200lbs.
Just thought I'd post this - because I'm jones'n to put the new motor in!

Also - it really bogged down at the start because the track was cold and it hooked up better than I thought it would at 20lbs in the tires
Nearly stalled it.
