CSP car/truck show G2G

CSP Car/Truck/Motorcycle Show G2G
Saturday May 11th 2013, 10am-6pm. 5660 Logan St. Denver, Colorado 80216

One of our members, Matt(classicbronc76) is a member of the IBEW (International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers) union and they are hosting a car, truck, and motorcycle show. He was asked to invite the entire truck club to the event at the local union 68s building. He mentioned the event to me and I thought it would be a great g2g for our chapter!!!

The event is a fundraiser for the EWMC (electrical worker minority caucus). The EWMC is very active in the Denver and surrounding communities. They provide assistance to high school students coming into the workforce with mock job interviews and a personal tour of what Xcel energy employees do on a daily basis. The EWMC also helps with food drives and various volunteer events, as well as conducting training courses for individuals who want to start an electrical career but do not have the means to get started with such things as a CDL training course. To assist with all these things the EWMC must have funds to spend. The event helps them raise funds to do so.

The fee to enter your truck, car, or motorcycle in the show is $35 cash per vehicle entered in the show, but you don't have to be in the show to come and GENERAL ADMISSION IS FREE. There will be a horseshoe tournament, chilli cook off, and bake sale! Prizes for all the events!! The word is a Mustang club, Vette club, and Mopar club are coming to the event. Let's get as many of us out there to the event to show them how we roll and show our CSP and Powerstroke pride!!!

We are going to meet before the show at the Denver Merchandise Mart off of 58th and I-25 at 9:00am on the 11th and then caravan to the show. Let us know if you cannot make the meet up, but will be at the show.

Let me know if you would like to attend and if you want to participate in the show. We will need to give them a head count of who wants to do what so they can plan on sectioning an area off for us to park together.

1. Jeff (Rattlesnake18) --- showing
2. Matt (classicbron76) --- showing
3. Jordan (swantoe) --- showing
4. Avery (ferraricaxtu)

See what you can do Kevin, we do have a decent amount of time for everyone to try to schedule this event into their calender.

That's why I'm hoping I'll be able to get that day off. Although I should probably give it a week or two before I ask for more time off

I'm sure in a week you will have forgotten about this whole thing.

I'll make sure I keep reminding you bud.

It's a possibility, so the reminder is probably a good idea
