Wisdom teeth

Well just went and got them out (all4) figured this is where i would put this thread, because im not going to be doin much cookin or eatin for a while. Cant feel half my face its a trip. Wish i could have a beer right about now. I should start having people bet i wont eat nasty things because, i cant taste anything Just thought id let yall know. And see how some of yalls mouth surgery's have been. Curious how long ill feel like crap for.

sorry to hear that!!! are you drooling all over yourself? i only tell the dentist to give me half of what he is usally does cuz i hate that feeling. i would rather take a little pain then walk around looking like a tard cuz i cant feel my face

Wow yeah i had that done like 18 years ago and it wasn't pleasant. Don't remember the pain factor but i do remember spitting out a lot of blood. Gross dude. LOL.

I had mine done in Boot Camp. I think they gave me half a day off. But yeah it sucks.

yeah i need mine out, one came threw and hurts like hell but i dont really care at this point.. im young and stupid still.

Yeah my top teeth where growing in sideways (alot of pain) And yes im drooling blood like crazy. The doctor had to keep giving me the stuff that makes you pass out and i wouldnt go to sleep so he gave me more and it hit me like a frieght train so i cant even feel my face from my chin to my ears.

Just be careful when you do start to eat. I got some food or something in one of the sockets and got an infection and was miserable for weeks. I think I had some sort of syringe type thing that I was supposed to clean my mouth out with but obviously it didn't work. I just remember spitting blood for days. Good luck

yeah, mine had an infection while it was poping threw the gum, it is nooo fun at all. Man Ii would hate to be that druged up.

Only 4?

Before I had braces put on I had my 4 wisdom teeth pulled PLUS my 4 bicuspids, thats right EIGHT at one time. All I remember is that I had an old 1961 Chevy Apache and I had to drive home because my girlfriend couldn't drive it, and all I wanted to do was sleep.

Just don't eat anything really solid for a few days, TOP RAMEN and stuff like that should be okay, and make sure you irrigate them, and if I remember I had to gargle with salt water every couple hours.... do all that and you'll be okay
