Built a table for my Weber
I saw this table on the Texas Bowhunter Journal and built it with some modifications from the picture. I love cooking on this Weber and the removable ash pan is the Bomb, simply scrape the handle side to side and remove the pan to empty. I added the slate to the bottom so that I could take my charcoal chimney and put it red hot straight onto the bottom shelf without burning the wood. The black iron I had made to give it some style and the 1" air gap is plenty to keep the table top from getting too hot from the coals. The lid rests on the top left end of the spice rack when I take it off and the cooking grate hangs from the left side of the table just under the table top while the coals are heating up. Thoughts?!?

Yes, I won't take credit for the design, but I had something like this in mind for a while. Ran across it on the Texas Bowhunter Journal, showed it to Mrs. Gunner and told her that "I wanna build one of these THIS WEEKEND". I was going to do pressure treated lumber, but when she saw the #1 pine it was all over but the paying part. Cabinet grade pine for an outside grill table, hope it holds up over time.
