New Mexico Green Chile Cheeseburger.
First......Roast some Green Chile over hot coals
![]() ![]() Put them Straight into a Baggie and Seal it to let them sweat . ![]() After a few minuets.....Peel them... ![]() Spread them out on top of your patty..... ![]() Put another patty on top of that , and wrap the out side with Bacon.... ![]() Put them on your q and cook. Be careful when turning !!!! Add a couple slices of chesse on top when your close to done... And Serve.........Hope you all enjoy !! ![]() ![]() Ernie

Mmmmmmmmm...green chili's
Lived out in Albuquerque in the early 90's and got addicted. Back home in central Texas now but our local HEB brings them in for two weeks every September and roast them on the spot. I buy 25# box each year. Just had some giant green chili, bacon and smoked gouda cheese stuffed burgers last night as a matter of fact. Like the bacon idea , will have to try ! |
