Lets talk buffalo wings

How many of you are cooking up your own buffalo wings? Im starting to perfect my method of soaking them in beer and whipping up my own sauce. Still a work in progress but im getting close to the perfect formula.

I dont know what kind of wings we get but we marinate them in half vinegar and half hot sauce. Then grill them.

we do a hooter style wings, egg wash flour deep fry and then we make up our own mixture of hot sauce butter and spices they are nice and crispy and juicy in the middle

HAHAH I call em hot wings but most people look at me like im some kinda backwoods type, had to tone it down a lil for the thread.

Ive been flash boiling mine in the beer I soak em in then drain em and throw em in the oven and broil em till they are done, them give em a nice coating of the sauce.

I think i know whats for dinner tonight...

The place I work cooks them once with buffalo sauce, then regrigerates. Heat them up again, and tosses them with a mixture of about 60% buffalo sauce, and 40% habenero pruee'. Then heat it again. Its hot as hell...

my gf has gotten really good at making a sesame seed hotwing.. she made them for her brothers couples shower, and they were gone in no time lol!

The best wings I've EVER EATEN were smoked first then prepared like normally hotwings. Absolutely AWESOME!!!! Anybody that has a smoker needs to try this!

A local guy makes some dry wing rub. I put some in a medium size brown paper sack with the wings shake it up and throw sack and all in the smoker for about 3 hours.
I think I am gonna go dig the smoker out of the snow..........
