Perfectly BBQ'd Salmon

While I don't have an actual recipe for this I figured how i would do this every time I do it.

Step 1. Go catch a fresh Salmon! Note Recipe does not work with Atlantic Salmon!!

Step 2. Gut the fish.

Step 3. Cut onions and Oranges into thin slices.

Step 4. Stuff the Onions and Oranges into the belly of the fish.

Step 5. Wrap in tin foil to protect the fish. You can do it directly on the grill but that takes more babysitting than I am willing to do.

Step 6. Throw on a nice smokey grill. Flip once. Cooking time depends on the size of the fish.

I will post pics of the finished product when done.

That looks like a nice one. Which river did ya pull that out of. I am usually working the Salmon, Siletz, and the one that flows through Pacific City in Oregon that I cant remember the name of.

I pulled it out of Puget Sound. It hadn't hit fresh water yet.

I figured it was pretty fresh. It still looks very silver.
