9+1 question

hey guys i'm still pretty new to firearms been carrying since march. i carry a Springfield XD-40 subcompact. well i carry with the small 9 round mag and i have been loading an extra into the camber making 10 total. my question is this ok to do or am i gonna affect anything by possibly overloading the weapon.

I carried my XD45 13+1 for about 2 years without a single problem. Also have put 1500 rounds (on my 2nd barrel) through it with out a single jam. Every time I went shooting a would draw my weapon and fire as I would in an emergency situation.

I personally won't let the same ammo just sit in my barrel for very long, maybe 1 month max. I clean and shoot my CC guns regularly.

ok cool. i do clean it and swap the rounds around every month or maybe every other month. i haven't shot it enough cause i'm broke and spend to much money on my truck. but thanks for the response
