Just got my renewed permit in the mail.....had one for 15 yrs now and this this will take me to 20yrs......Still haven't had to shoot anyone yet ! That has got to make the liberal antigun supporters mad ! LOL !

Don't know about ...Ok...... but it is pretty easy in VA as long as you are not a felon...30 bucks a backgroung check....you are on your way......I rarely carry .....like it so I can keep it in the truck

Here you have to take a class and pass a test, then pay the state about 250 bucks

Ouch. In Alabama you just fill out the form, they run a background check and you pay $15.

I feel for you ......I had to do that in WV for my first one.......needed the NRA handgun course etc....VA is much more lax and less expensive......they will take a hunter's safety course

Yeah, up here in MN its about $250 for the county/state fee and the classes. It was well worth it though. I would never give up that freedom.

Well I just looked it up, its not quite 250 but its close
Class: $60
Photo: $10
Fingerprinting $25
License Fee $100
(good for 5 years)

Total $195

Being able to protect yourself......Priceless!!!

That $15 for us is only for a year but then for 5 years its only $75

What's a renewal cost there ? the big fees are usually one time only.....much less for a renewal
