Auto Enginuity!!

Got mine yesterday. Ive been goofing off with it, learning with it, etc. Probably the neatest thing Ive done is data log specified parameters on a wot run and e-mail it to the folks who burned my current chip. They will have a look, make a few changes, burn a new chip and send it out. So far, I dont regret the purchase. I hope to keep learning with it.

They send you a cord that has the end that plugs in to your laptop, and the other end into your OBDII port. After youve loaded the software, then you can scan for DTCs,clear them, run various tests pertinant to our trucks(injector buzz, cylinder contribution, etc). Also has live data metering that allows you to monitor your trucks"vitals" while running, and record them if you want. That just barely scratches the surface of the capabilities of this tool, but it far`exceeds mine! lol.

I just got mine 2 weeks ago and i totally agree. Its so filled with info its crazy. It'll take me a while to learn it all. I thought about running an add in the paper saying diesel diagnostic work $30 bucks an hour. They dealer wants $80-100 bucks depending on where you go to run a scan. You could make some side cash with this thing.

I bought mine from ITP Diesel, LLC and it'll work for any newer ford diesel 94.5 to present i think. Dennis at ITP is great to work with. Just make sure you have a newer lap top to run it on.
