Photobucket/DVD ?

I posted this a while back but never got an answer. Hopefully one of you guys can help me out. One of our members saw the videos I posted on here of some truck pulls. He is overseas serving our country, and he sent me a PM asking me if I could burn the videos to a DVD and send them to him. I would like to do this for him but don't know how. Is there a way to get them from my photobucket account and burn them to a DVD? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is but it will involve a few different steps.

there is a program called orbit downloader. You can use that to "download" the embedded movies from photobucket. Then if you have a good dvd burning program like nero it should be able to convert into dvd format for you.

You already have everything you need then. Go to the programs menu and click on "windows DVD maker". I haven't used that program yet but it seems like the easiest one to use if you just want to put them on a dvd. If you want to get creative you can use the "windows movie maker". It's not hard to figure out, but your gonna have a learning curve. With the movie maker you can add titles, fade in and out, add music, and stuff like that.

If you have any more questions just let me know. Or heck, since this is for a soldier, if you want me to do it just email me the vids and I'll make him a DVD.

I tried the DVD maker but for some reason my computer won't recognize the DVD's that I put in to burn the videos to. Any suggestions?

HMMMM. I don't know. Mine say DVD+R and they work fine.

Only thing I can think of is if you were trying to use a dvd that already has something on it

Mine says DVD+R too. Nothing on them. I just opened the pack a few minutes ago. I will try again later. Have to go to work now. If I can't get it to work I will let you know.

Here is a link to Orbit. It is freeware so you do not have to buy anything.

orbit downloader software downloads and reviews - CNET Downloads

I'm not to sure about the windows DVD maker. I'll have to check it out when I get home if you are still having problems.
