I have it, I really can't tell the difference between XP and Vista. I know the first versions of vista had compatibility problems with other programs. But I have not had any problems with vista at all. I installed it on my computer and my wife's as well.

I've been running Vista for 2+ years. No more issues with Vista than XP. There are still a few compatibility issues with the 64bit version of Vista, but the same issues are there for the 64bit version of XP also.

I have one of the more recent versions of Vista and I hate it. It restarts every time I try to move large files around the desktop!

I have XP on two of my machines and Vista on the third. The only issue that I have heard with Vista is people putting it on a machine without enough RAM. I like it better than XP and like Dirk said no more issues than XP.

I have Vista on my laptop and I like it better than XP. If you are used to the old windows xp, me, 2000, 98, 95 then it will be a little bit of a learning period getting used to it. There is all the same stuff as XP on Vista and much more it's just learning where and how to do them. I would go with Vista personally once you get used to it it's awesome. westcoaststrokin is right though make sure you get a computer with enough Ram (1gb at the very least) and a fast enough processor. Hope this helps.
