Nvidia Defective GPU

Hey everyone, not used to posting on Computer forum. Normally I stick to trucks! Anyway I am the unproud owner of an HP Pavilion dv9339US. I'm sure that some of you may know what Nvidia has detected a problem with some late model GPUs that are failing fast at unusual rates. There is a very popular thread that can be found here: Business support forums - NVIDIA DEFECTIVE GPUs

There is a man by the name of Lance Waidzunas. He has put together a class action suit. If you are having the same problem please e-mail him at lswaidz@gmail.com It does not cost us anything to get into the lawsuit against them. I am trying to get as many people in this thing as possible. Thanks for reading!!!

The solder on them is cheap and it will break after extreme heat exposure after about a year. Causes video card and motherboard failure. A lot of ķepole are having this problem.

i would just request a new motherboard from hp. or if the chip is removeable, have them send you a new nvidia card.

Thats the thing, HP is screwing us over. They won't fix it. They are fixing the ones with an AMD board but not Intel, and its making a lot of people mad. Their support treats people like s***. I got hung up on by an Executive Case Manager, and I was actually being nice for once. At first they told me it would be $400 to fix it, then they told me $611, and now they want $1000. They are not doing anything right.
