Turned my computer on and this popped up. Should I be concerned?

No, it happens if the computer was turned off without shutting down.

Computer detected a potential hard drive issue and is resolving it.

Thanks, something else must be wrong then. It's done this the last couple of days, usually over night.

Yes, your hard drive is probably going bad. Time to back up files and budget a new hard drive.

Pick up an SSD, and use a new HDD as storage/backup. You will not be disappointed that you spent an extra $100-200.

If you ever think something I post is ridiculous or uneducated, just remember that I probably learned it from here.

Misuse of software does not create fault in hardware.

Yeah. I definitely said that wrong!...I meant "effective and fun use". haha, either way, you can get all sorts of viruses, but it won't actually hurt the hardware in any way.
