help needed

[CHUCK]

I have a new Dell inspron 530. My problems...
1. I just installed new updates, and mow my text is smaller in the internet windows. While your reading this, look up at the home, forums etc. Before the updates, all that was across my screen, now its in the middle.

2. In paint, the pointer ( curser ) is not lined up to where a line is being drawn.

any help?
