iPod help

so i finally got a new iPod last night. i put alot of photos on it and had some i didnt want on there. how do i remove some but not all of the photos?? i cant find the option to do so.

I dont think you can remove the photos off the iPod directly...you can only choose what to put on there through iTunes. At least, that's what I think I ran into myself trying.

hmmmm, 250 bucks and i cant even put what i wnat on there, its all or nothing???? hmmmm, im a little disappointed.

Nah, you can put on what you want...I think you need to create a new folder on your computer with the pics you want, then sync just that folder. Does that make sense?

I had to do that with my iPhone to transfer some pics.

It isn't all or nothing. I think what Eric was saying was that you have to edit it using your computer (ITunes) not directly on the Ipod. If you hook back up to your computer you should be able to pick which ones to sync to the Ipod. My wife has a bunch of pictures on hers but I never tried to remove them directly from the IPod - not saying it isn't possible but I have never seen it.

yeah i had itunes up, and synced my pictures folders to the ipod, but i foun some i wanted to remove and i could figure out how. i even downloaded the full manual that pertains to my ipod and it said you can manually manage the photos but i still cant figure it out. i just removed tehm all for now. ill go back in and create a folder with my pics that i want. thanks for the help.

i think it's just like songs... you can check the little box to say yes you want them on your ipod, when it's unchecked they won't be synced to your ipod

so if i want to remove a song can i go and uncheck the little box and then hit sync and it will be removed?? i try to see the photos folder in itunes and i cant see it so the check/ uncheck box idea wont work unless im not seeing what you are seeing.

i know it's like that for music, i don't have pics on my ipod so i'm not sure how it works with them but i'd think it'd be the same as music....?
