web cam cameras

Hey looking to get my dad a web cam for christmas. Anyone got any info on them, know what a good one is, or a good brand? i know quite a bit about computers but never really missed witht he webcam stuff. thanks for any input.

Depends on what he wants to do with it. You can get a decent basic one from logictech. They are sold at Walmart for around 30-40 dollars. But you can get some that cost some big money. All depends on what he wants to do with it.

i think he mainly wants it for talking with someone over the internet. my sister has one built into her laptop and i think it is mainly to talk with her, not sure what else he would use it for.

Go to walmart and pick up the logic tech one then. It will work perfectly for him. Plus it is easy to install and use.

the Logitech Pro 4000 is a good one, i have it and works great. it also has its own built in microphone.
