Net images gone?

All I see s a bunch of red squares, no smileys, no pics or anything. Text and backgrounds ar fine, as long as they dont have pics in them. Does anyone know what program is responsable for these? I have already re-downloaded internet explorer, but not sure where to go next.

Yep, every site. I am using my laptop also, and it's fine, so I figure I lost some application to a recent virus.

I'd just reinstall windows on top of itself and see if it works for you.

you may need to update your "flash player" thing from Marcomedia site..

Adobe - Flash Player

go to that link and it will say if it is installed, if not install it! it is free...

haha, usually the install over it will fix those types of things.. i'd just make sure you backup everything then go at it..

if you have it all backed up, I may even just format the dang thing and reinstall on a clean slate..

Thanks guys! I'm re-installing Java and Adobe is up to date. I downloaded Firefox browser and I got pics!!! Now I just have to figure out why I explorer isn't working, but I'm closer that I was. It's a lot easier to download stuff when you can see what you are clicking.

why not? Flash shoudln't have anything to do with viewing pictures and stuff...

reinstalling windows gives it a fresh start and then running all the updates to make sure you have no virus's (with a format/reinstall) and everything will be in tip top shape..

edit: if its just an IE problem, then see if you can uninstall it then reinstall IE. We format/reinstall about once a year and it ALWAYS makes a huge difference
