Facebook pros i need your help!

Okay, so I created a Facebook for my small business. I let the account collect dust for a few years but decided to give it a shot this week. When I first created the account, I made the mistake of creating a personal profile for my business. This week I managed to convert my profile into a Facebook fan page.

Everything is working fine except for a few things. Now, I have somewhat of a ghost account as far as a personal profile… But my page is working just fine. Is there any way to revive my personal profile that I had created before? I would like to use it for personal use, and have my business page on the side.

I'm very new to Facebook

So you converted your company profile to a fan page and now want to use the old profile as your personal page? I would go in and deactivate the profile page and start fresh with your own personal page

but i thought you had to have a (or in my case the original) profile open in order to have a page...or am i wrong?

its weird because all the friends i had on my old profile before the conversion were automatically added to the new page as fans. most of them are my family members.

the old profile is still semi open...i have a friends lists (with my old contacts) and i still have the old photo albums open...but i cant access or use facebook under that profile.

I'd invest in a website, Facebook sucks.
