Stock Market

Well I'm taking intro to business and we have to pick some stock. We are given 10,000 dollars and I spent 4900ish last night on 4 of them.

Here were my choices...
Cummins
Coca-Cola
Alltel
Amazon

I need some tips and advice. If I do the best in my class I get 300 bucks - and I think that should be easy. haha jk. I've never done anything like this - so any help let me know!

Also pick ones that move a lot since you aren't investing long term.

don't pick any retail chains either.

What do you mean by retail chains? Like GAP, JC Penny, etc..?
