keyboard replaced.. still barely works.. virus?? HELP

hp laptop i replaced keyboard and it still doesnt put every letter i type up.

What can the problem be

replaced the keyboard with what? a new on the laptop keyboard or external usb keyboard?

try a usb keyboard to see if it has the same effects.

did you fully plug in the new keyboard? as in the ribbon is in all the way or the plug is in? do the letters come up if you press harder or after pressing it many times?
