New Puter from wife

I am far from a computer person but I try. I am typing this from my new laptop my wife gave me for Easter. My brother has already set up the wireless router, and has got this thing going. It feels wierd to sit in the living room now and watch tv while on the site at the same time. This thing is a ToshibaA1305s2257. It has a 15.4 inch monitor,80 gig hd, 1.6 dual core processor,512 megs of ram, wireless ready, dvd-rw,and runs Windows Vista. Now, shes got me a typing lesson cd that will help me learn to use more than 2 fingers. LOL!! We will see. Oh, yeah, I got a wireless mouse to use too. Pretty neat. Oh well, wantedto post wid my new toy.

congrats on the new toy, the wireless is great i'm using it too. just make sure you lock it down so only you can use the wireless. i have heard of people losing their identity when people hack in to unlocked wireless routers.

Yeah, my brother has it set up where you need a password to use my wireless. He ran a test beforehand, and in just a few hours, 4 other users had tried to use the router. So he went ahead and set it up with a password.
