which laptop around $900
Hey all, I need to get the missus a laptop for christmas (last minute I know)...
I am a computer dumba*s... I literally have no idea what all the numbers mean and acronyms mean. I never cared and do not have th epatience to learn. My hearing turns off after about 45 seconds. Anyways. I am looking for a lap top for the wife. She mostly just surfs the net, (facebook that kind of stuff) but is in nursing school so needs that capability. And I think she wants a fairly good screen (her old mac that just took a dump had a 15 inch screen which she hated) Macs are super expensive and her last two crapped out super quick...pc this time.. Any recommendations or links to good sales?

|
if all she's doing is net surfing and occasional documents, a $900 machine is way overkill. I know you don't want to cheap out on the wifey but, a $500-$600 machine will do what you're asking with ease.
