I have a Dell and Ilike it alot. I got it for around $400 on sale. I know nothing about computers so maybe thats why I like it  I use it for all my school and fun stuff and it is good to go so far.

i have a gateway and a toshiba. the toshiba has xp and the gateway vista, the gateways a good computer juts in need of 7 cuz vista is stupid, but i love my xp. never lets me down. the toshiba is usually in my truck or with me most of the time and i keep my gateway at home, or with me depends on what i need. i got office on both so whatever i need its there.

I have a Acer and love it. My next laptop will probably be another Acer just a better on. My next desktop will be a Mac
