I use Norton Dave. I ran a full system scan, and that is all that came back was some low risk tracking cookies. Is there sometning else I can try?

Norton is junk. Get rid of it. Google AVG and download it.

Also google CCleaner download and run it. Norton does not get rid of all cookies and viruses. They contract with some tracking companies to leave them sit

Somehow I knew that was going to be your answer no matter what my response was. That seems to be the theme around here anymore...... whatever someone else has, run it into the dirt. I have had good luck with Norton so far Maybe until now, I don't know.....

Just out of curiousity, what are you basing your statements on? Rumors? Aritcles? Consumer reports? Personal experience? You may be right, I just like to know where info comes from.

Thanks

Chris Im basing it entirely on personal experience. I have had Norton. Decided to switch, found something that works much better. Actually removes things.

Also I have heard the same from probably about 40 different PC techs

That's fair enough.
If the guy at the Adobe forums can't help me fix this problem, I'll probably switch to different antivirus software and give that a try. I JUST paid to renew Norton though....

AVG is the way to be and I also use free internet eraser from download.com as well as malwarebytes for really infected computers. Norton and Mcafee are poo.
